Pune is Maharashtra’s second-largest city and one of India’s biggest IT, automotive and education centres, with software parks at Hinjawadi and Kharadi, automotive manufacturing in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Chakan, and a student population drawn from across the country.
Pune’s learner base is young, technically minded and salaried, which shows up in the kind of questions people ask: they want the logic behind a strategy, backtest-style reasoning, and clarity on how much capital a method actually needs.
Whether you are near Hinjawadi IT Park, Kharadi EON Free Zone and Shivajinagar or further out, the batch is the same. What changes is the local context you bring to the questions you ask.
Why learn the stock market in Pune?
The people who join our Pune batches are not a single type. IT and product engineers, automotive and manufacturing professionals, startup employees with equity compensation, finance and KPO staff, and students from SPPU, COEP, Symbiosis and the city’s management institutes. What they share is a reason to understand money better: a salary that needs a plan, a business whose profits need a home, or simply the realisation that a savings account is not a strategy.
In Pune, as in the rest of India, the hardest part of learning is filtering. There is no shortage of opinions about the market; there is a shortage of explanations that survive contact with a real chart and a real loss. Our approach is to teach the reasoning, so you can evaluate the next claim yourself.

What the course covers
A summary first, then the detail. The eight areas below run in order, and the full module breakdown for each sits on its own page so you can compare what is taught before you ask what it costs.
| Area | What you practise |
|---|---|
| Market structure and account mechanics | What a share is, how NSE and BSE differ in practice, what SEBI and the depositories do, and how KYC, demat, trading account, order types, settlement and the full cost of a round trip actually work. |
| Technical analysis and price action | Reading candles, marking swing highs and lows, trend versus range, support and resistance placed where price actually reacted, and why a pattern means different things in different contexts. |
| Fundamental analysis | Reading a balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statement, the ratios that matter for Indian listed companies, and what an annual report does and does not tell you. |
| Intraday trading | Session structure, opening ranges, leverage and product type, enforced daily loss limits, and an explicit calculation of brokerage, STT, exchange charges, GST, stamp duty and slippage. |
| Swing and positional trading | End-of-day scanning, universe selection, daily-timeframe entries, stops sized to the instrument’s normal range, and managing overnight gap risk in under thirty minutes a day. |
| Futures and options | Lot size, margin and mark-to-market; calls and puts built from first principles; strike, expiry, premium, intrinsic and extrinsic value; and payoff diagrams you can draw by hand. |
| Options in depth | The Greeks, implied volatility, open interest, expiry mechanics, and an honest account of why most short-dated option buying loses money and why selling options is not free income. |
| Risk, psychology and review | Position sizing from what you are willing to lose rather than the margin offered, stop placement, expectancy, drawdown limits, a written plan and a journal that is reviewed. |

Where learners in Pune usually start
If you are starting from zero, take the beginner course. If you are starting from a demat account you opened two years ago and have been using on instinct, the training programme is a better fit, because it begins by auditing what you have actually been doing.
Fitting the course around work in Pune
Two to three hours a week between sessions is the realistic minimum, and it is the part people underestimate. Attending without practising produces notes rather than skill. Learners in Pune who treat the practice block as fixed, the way they would a class, are the ones who finish.
Opening a demat and trading account from Pune
A trading account is useful from about the third week. From Pune the whole process is remote: PAN, Aadhaar-linked KYC, bank details and a video in-person verification. Anyone insisting you come to a branch in person is selling something else.
Check anything you are told against the primary sources rather than against us. Broker and research-analyst registrations are searchable on the SEBI investor website, complaints go through SCORES, and trading members are listed by NSE and BSE. Your shares are held with one of the two depositories, NSDL or CDSL, and both let you check your holdings independently of the broker’s own app. We teach how to use these; we are not affiliated with any of them.
Who joins the batches from Pune
Anyone over 18 can join, and there is no requirement to have a commerce or finance degree. In Pune, our learners include it and product engineers, automotive and manufacturing professionals, startup employees with equity compensation, finance and kpo staff, and students from sppu, coep, symbiosis and the city’s management institutes. We also teach chartered accountants, teachers, doctors, engineers, homemakers returning to work, and retired professionals managing their own savings.
- Complete beginners who have never bought a share and want the mechanics explained without jargon.
- Working professionals who want an end-of-day or swing method rather than a full-time intraday routine.
- Business owners who want to understand where to deploy surplus cash and how much risk is reasonable.
- Existing traders with a live record but no written process, who want to find out what is actually costing them money.
- Students building a practical skill alongside a degree, with small capital and a long horizon.
Fees, duration and the completion record
Duration depends on the programme: the beginner course covers the essentials over a few weeks of part-time study, while the full training programme runs longer because it includes practice and review. Contact us on WhatsApp for the latest course fees, available batches and complete course details.
We issue a completion record naming the programme and the modules covered. It is not a qualification recognised by SEBI or any exchange, and it does not permit you to advise anyone else on investments.
What we do not claim
We have no classroom in Pune and will not pretend otherwise. If a competitor lists a local address, ask to visit it before paying. The advantage of online delivery is real; the invented branch is not part of it.
- No stock tips, buy-sell signals or managed accounts. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst.
- No assured-return, guaranteed-profit or income-replacement claims. Trading and investing can lose you money.
- No placement guarantees, no purchased testimonials and no invented student counts.
- Risk controls are taught inside every method, not sold as a separate module.
Regional note. Mumbai hosts the NSE at Bandra Kurla Complex and the BSE at Dalal Street, as well as SEBI and the Reserve Bank of India.
If you are closer to Mumbai, Nashik, Thane, Solapur, Kolhapur than to central Pune, it makes no practical difference — the session is online — but those pages may describe your situation better.
